Jeff Chaus

Jeff Chaus entered the New Jersey Real Estate market in 1986 with the experience of managing the warehousing and distribution operation of his family’s garment business, the publicly traded Bernard Chaus Inc. based in Secaucus, New Jersey. During the years of Jeff’s leadership, the company expanded into the 500,000 square foot state of the Hartz distribution center.

Based on his experience in warehousing and distribution, Jeff has the insight and understanding to often anticipate a client’s needs before they do.

Jeff is the original founding member of Chaus Realty and has been active in the New Jersey real estate market since 1986. He has leased over 2,000,000 square feet with Hartz Mountain Industries. He has been recognized by the Costar Group of Northern New Jersey as Power Broker of the Year for four consecutive years.

Prominent recent transactions include  sale and leasing of 175,000 square feet of warehouse and distribution space for the H-Mart supermarket chain and an additional 36,000 square feet of retail space at the new American Dream retail and entertainment complex in the Meadowlands.

Born in Brooklyn, raised in New Jersey, Jeff attended Quinnipiac University and received an advanced degree in Textile Science from the State University of New York. He is devoted to his family, friends and clients, and is a champion for the less fortunate.
